Curriculum Vitae

Ekaterina Smirnova has a PhD in Cultural Anthropology. Graduated from St. Petersburg State University, she holds MA in Sociology and Social Anthropology from Central European University, Budapest and MA in Sociology from European University at St. Petersburg (EUSP). Among her research interests are conceptual history, history of science in the Early Modern Period, theory of republicanism, science and technology studies. She was affiliated with Sciences Po (Paris) and STS Center in EUSP in the framework of a research project “Russian Computer Scientists at home and abroad”. Now she works for the university administration.
