Curriculum Vitae

Andrey is currently finishing his PhD thesis in Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan (France). His dissertation is dedicated to the Russian scientists, who turned to entrepreneurial activity for the sake of commercializing their scientific endeavors.

Andrey graduated from the department of physics at Moscow State University, where he was trained in the field of laser biophysics. He also studied at French University College at MSU and received his MA in sociology from Sorbonne (Paris IV). Andrey teaches statistics at Sciences Po and takes part in research projects, where he deploys skills in variety of research methods from interviews to the analysis of big data with machine learning.

In RCS project Andrey was conducting fieldwork in Novosibirsk and Tomsk; he also analyzed mobility of Russian computer scientists using quantitative methods.
